I want to develop solutions to ensure everyone can read what they want in the format that suits them.


Vincent de Jong holds a Master degree in Business Administration. After having worked as a teacher Logistics and an ICT-trainer for a few years, he became Project Manager at the Library for the Blind in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Since 2003 Vincent has worked as Project Manager R&D for Dedicon. The leading organization in the Netherlands that provides information in accessible formats for people with a print impairment . Vincent is currently working on several digital service projects like the rollout of the Online Delivery platform of audiobooks, -magazines and -newspapers of the Dutch Library for print impaired people (Loket aangepast-lezen). The initial project of this platform was awarded with the Jodi Award 2009 International in the category “Digital Access Online”. Vincent is now also involved in the development of tabloid Apps for people with a print impairment. These Apps provides digital services of the Loket aangepast-lezen such as a personal Bookshelf combined with an accessible player of audiobooks.
