Sandra Fauconnier

I am driven by a very strong passion for the universal and public value, the emancipatory and life-enriching qualities of contemporary and media art.

Bio

Sandra Fauconnier is an art historian (MA, Ghent University, 1997) with over 10 years of experience in the online mediation of (documentation about) contemporary and media art. She was an archivist for V2_ Institute for the Unstable Media (Rotterdam) from 2000 till 2007. At this moment Sandra works for the collection and mediatheque of the Netherlands Media Art Institute (Amsterdam, since 2007). She writes and lectures about media art, coordinates the development of several web projects related to (media) art and culture, and is generally interested in information architecture for the web, copyright issues, open data and experimental culture.
