Jane Finnis is the Chief Executive of Culture24, an independent charity who support the arts and heritage sector in the UK to reach audiences on digital platforms. (www.WeAreCulture24.org.uk)
Culture24 collect, curate and distribute content from and about museums, galleries and other cultural institutions to their own channels (www.culture24.org.uk, www.show.me.uk) but also package and share it across a range of third parties services which include the BBC, Hewlett Packard, NCT and more.
Jane leads Culture24’s research work into evaluating online success as well as their Museums at Night campaign. She work internationally with other players similar to Culture24 and is the founder and Chairman of Culturemondo, an informal international network of people who are all developing, building and running online cultural services around the world (www.culturemondo.org)
She is on the international advisory committees for Museums & the Web and DISH and is often invited to speak about her work at conferences around the world. She has worked in the arts professionally since 1989, starting in artist film and video production then moving into arts management and artist commissioning.
